A vintage signed painting depicting a quiet coastal village overlooking the sea, complete with weathered stone buildings, distant cliffs, and a wonderful turquoise fishing boat pulled onto the shore.

Painted on canvas with areas of heavy texture and palette-knife work. Signed in the lower left corner (Torreig, possibly) and is believed to date to the mid-20th century. It remains unframed on its original wooden stretcher.

There is one small 1/2" hole to the lower left portion of the canvas, along with minor surface and edge wear consistent with age. Surface grime, but no flaking or chipping paint. Please review photos closely for condition.

Measures 18" by 15".

Sourced in England. Circa 1950s.
