Manufactured by Paries Mfg. Co. of Decatur, Illinois, this vintage Art Deco desk lamp combines industrial utility with the streamlined styling of the 1930s. The heavy cast iron base, flexible gooseneck, and black metal shade made lamps like this a staple in offices, workshops, and drafting tables, while their design remains just as appealing today. This example has been carefully cleaned and lightly restored while preserving its original patina, is fully functional, and includes a new Edison-style LED bulb. It shows honest vintage wear consistent with age, including a few small spots of paint on the gooseneck that reflect its working history.

Measures 21" tall when fully extended, base measures 6" by 5".
