Vintage French Manufrance Aluminum Kitchen Canister Set

Hard to find, complete set of six vintage French kitchen canisters, made from lightweight aluminum with warm brass name plaques and matching domed lids.
The graduated set includes Sucre (sugar), Café (coffee), Farine (flour), Épices (spices), Thé (tea), and Poivre (pepper). Each canister is marked on the base with the Manufrance stamp of Saint-Étienne, France, identifying the set with the well-known French manufacturer Manufacture Française d’Armes et Cycles de Saint-Étienne.
The aluminum has developed the softened surface, small marks, and patina expected from decades of household use, including a few small indentations. All six original lids are present.
The Épices canister has a small hole behind its brass plaque. Because the plaque largely obscures the area when displayed, it has limited impact on the overall decorative presentation, but it is noted for accuracy.
The largest canister measures 5" tall (without lid), while the smallest is 3" tall.
Origin in France, sourced in England. Circa 1930-1940
