Vintage English Bread Knife with Carved "BREAD" Handle

A wonderful piece of vintage English kitchenalia for your collection. This bread knife features a hand-carved wooden handle with the word "BREAD" carved into the wood, softened by decades of use and a beautiful aged patina.
Made by W. H. Hodkinson of Sheffield, England, the stainless steel blade has light wear from age. It has dulled over time and shows a small spot of rust near the tip, so I recommend this piece for decorative display rather than food preparation.
Measures 13" in overall length. Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear, a beautifully aged carved handle, and light wear to the blade.
c.1930–1950. Sourced in England.
