A beautiful piece of Victorian English tableware. This butter knife features a carved wooden handle with "BUTTER" carved into the wood, paired with an engraved  blade decorated with a floral motif.

Originally made for serving butter at the table, these decorative knives were once common in English homes but are becoming increasingly difficult to find today.

Measures 7.5" in length. Good antique condition with a lovely aged patina to the wood and light wear to the silver plate consistent with age.
