A vintage English horse brass featuring a portrait of Queen Victoria, along with her years of reign and the phrase "Record Reign. "Slightly larger than many standard horse brasses at approximately 4.25 inches tall, it has strong visual presence and a wonderfully aged brass surface.
Royal and commemorative horse brasses were a popular part of British harness decoration, and portrait examples like this one make particularly distinctive collectibles.
