A branded English bread board bearing the iconic Hovis production name. Crafted from solid wood with a carved inscription, it shows generous wear consistent with decades of use. Please note a few discolored spots on the front side. Slightly smaller than our other boards, measuring at 9.5" in diameter. c1920-1940
English bread boards were traditionally used for slicing and serving bread in everyday English homes. Made from solid wood, each board shows natural wear and patina from years of practical use. Today, they work beautifully as serving pieces or as simple layered accents in the kitchen. Each one is selected direct from England for its character, quality, and timeless appeal.
