Antique English Blue Burst Top Glass Bottles CHOICE

These antique English aqua glass bottles date to the late Victorian era and would have once held pantry staples or household preparations. Sold separately, please choose which bottle to add to your cart. 

One bottle is embossed “Huddersfield Relish,” a condiment produced in Huddersfield, Yorkshire during the late 1800s. Bottles like this were used for savory sauces similar to Worcestershire and were commonly sold with embossed glass so the brand could be recognized even after paper labels wore away.

The second bottle is unlabeled, but its shape suggests it likely held a similar sauce, tonic, or household preparation. Bottles of this form were widely produced across Britain and were often reused in homes for oils, syrups, or homemade mixtures.

Both bottles feature the lovely soft aqua tone typical of Victorian glass, created naturally by iron content in the sand used during glassmaking. Today they make wonderful decorative pieces that can be beautiful styled on open kitchen shelves, in a pantry vignette, or grouped with other antique glass.

Please note the tops show old breakage, a common feature for bottles that were opened or repurposed long ago. The worn edges add to their authentic antique character.
