A beautiful Victorian music folio featuring Niels W. Gade's Psyche, published by Novello & Co out of London, England. The embossed red cloth binding with gilt lettering makes this a striking decorative piece for a bookshelf, piano, or music room.

Victorian music folios like this were found in many middle-class homes, where piano playing and parlor music were a favorite form of evening entertainment. This one also includes a dedication page to The Princess of Wales. 

Measures approximately 10" by 7", 142 pages total. Very good condition with some cover wear to the edges, a written inscription on cover page, and a few areas of foxing.
