This embossed aqua glass soda bottle was produced by Lee & Green Ltd., an English bottler known for its mineral waters and "Pure Bournewaters" during the early 20th century. At a time when naturally filtered spring water and carbonated mineral waters were prized for their purity, embossed bottles like this served as both practical packaging and lasting advertisements for local bottling companies. The soft seafoam glass and bold embossed lettering make it a wonderful addition to a collection of English advertising bottles or antique kitchen décor. In very good antique condition with no chips or cracks, showing only light age-related wear. The base features an interesting manufacturing quirk where the molten glass settled slightly to one side during production, creating a unique characteristic that reflects the hand-finished nature of early bottle making.
