A striking antique French majolica plate featuring Joan of Arc on horseback, dressed in armor and riding before a fortified castle. A molded banner along the lower edge reads “Jeanne d’Arc 1429,” referencing the year of her most famous military campaigns. The entire scene is worked in raised relief beneath a rich green glaze.

Light crazing is present throughout, consistent with age, with no significant chips or cracks noted. Measures approximately 8" in diameter.

French in origin, sourced in England. Circa 1890–1910.
