Vintage French Brown Stoneware Pitcher 6.5"

A vintage French stoneware pitcher with a warm brown glaze and classic ribbed decoration. The rounded body, simple loop handle, and slightly flared pouring lip give it a wonderful old-world utility look. This pitcher was sourced in England, and its form and finish are consistent with French utilitarian stoneware from the late 19th to early 20th century.

The handle has an old, stable repair at the lower attachment point and a hairline crack at the top attachment point. The repair is secure and easy to miss unless viewed closely. There is also a small glaze skip on the handle and light surface wear consistent with age and use.

Measures 6.5" tall, sourced in England.
