Antique Frank Cooper’s Oxford Marmalade Jar
Antique Frank Cooper’s Oxford Marmalade Jar
Couldn't load pickup availability
An antique English advertising jar for Frank Cooper’s Oxford Seville Marmalade, one of the most recognizable names in early English advertising pottery. This cream-colored pottery jar features the original black transfer advertising along with wonderful all-over crazing, staining, and age-related discoloration that give it it's unique collected character.
This example shows considerable wear from age, including heavy crazing and staining throughout. There is also a 1" chip along the back rim, shown in the photos. The jar remains solid and displays beautifully from the front.
Measures 4" tall and 3.5" in diameter. Sourced in England, circa 1900
