A beautifully detailed antique botanical print from L’Illustration Horticole, one of the most respected horticultural publications of the 19th century. This chromolithograph, published in 1886 under the direction of J. Linden, depicts Pandanus Kerchovei with rich color and precise botanical accuracy.

The paper shows light, even toning consistent with age and has been framed with a modern, distressed black wooden frame. Framed under clear acrylic (used in place of glass for a lighter, safer finish). Fitted with a sawtooth hanger for easy, secure wall mounting.

Other book plate shown is the title page from the original source and will be included for provenance.

Frame measures 12" by 15". Book plate sourced in England, frame and matte are US repurposed.
