A late Victorian-era bread board carved with simple wheat motifs. Crafted from solid wood (likely sycamore) and shaped by years of use, it shows natural wear and patina consistent with age. Please note there are two slightly darker colored spots in the front middle. Measures approximately 11" in diameter. c 1890-1905.
English bread boards were traditionally used for slicing and serving bread in everyday English homes. Made from solid wood, each board shows natural wear and patina from years of practical use. Today, they work beautifully as serving pieces or as simple layered accents in the kitchen. Each one is selected direct from England for its character, quality, and timeless appeal.
