A charming hand-carved English breadboard with a thinner, lighter construction and distinctly cottage character. Unlike many more standardized Victorian breadboards, this example has a flatter reverse side, hand-cut lettering, and a more rustic, handmade feel. Likely late 19th century and possibly made in a small workshop or cottage-industry setting.

The board measures 12" in diameter and is on the thinner side, measuring less than 1/4" thick. It does show knife marks and have a slight warp, consistent of a handmade board with this age.
