Rich with character and finished in a warm brown salt glaze, this English stoneware spirit bottle would have originally been used to store and transport spirits, ginger beer, or other household liquids during the late 19th to early 20th century. A beautiful and classic English accent piece for open shelving, a pantry display, or layered into a collection of antique stoneware. The bottle retains its original impressed Poulton maker's mark and displays the expected variations from hand production. Free of any major cracks, chips, or damage.

Measures 9.5" tall with a 4" wide diameter base.  Sourced in England. c1905
