Antique Victorian-era vocal score of Stabat Mater by Anton Dvořák, published by Novello, Ewer & Co. in the classic Original Octavo Edition format. This piece dates to the 1880s and includes a handwritten inscription dated October 14, 1884, adding a wonderful layer of history and provenance. Printed for soli, chorus, and orchestra.  Also includes also a pamphlet from the Leicester Amateur Vocal Society Vistors Evening performance, dated March 31, 1885.

A beautiful decorative piece for styling, music rooms, or layered antique book stacks. Perfect for collectors of antique music, English ephemera, or European choir scores.

Measures 10" by 7". 107 pages total. Shows wear consistent with age, including tear on spine and some loose back pages. Other pages intact, some foxing.
