A wonderfully charming 1937 W.D. & H.O. Wills “An Album of Dogs” cigarette card album, complete with all 50 original illustrated dog cards.

Issued in England by Wills Cigarettes, the album features fifty different dog breeds, each shown on a beautifully illustrated collectible cigarette card accompanied by information about the breed. From Cairn Terriers and Pugs to Poodles, sporting dogs and many others, it is an especially fun piece of pre-war British ephemera.

All fifty cards are present in the original album. The cards retain lovely color, while the album shows light age-related wear, including small marks and wear to the cover and corners consistent with its nearly 90 years. The book measures 7.25" by 5."

A particularly appealing piece for a dog lover, collector of vintage British advertising, or anyone who appreciates old illustrated ephemera.
