A single vintage French open linen torchon (tea towel) with woven red stripes and a hand-embroidered TV monogram near one corner. Also has one sewn-in hang hook. These traditional French kitchen towels were made for everyday household use and are especially beautiful today for layering, display, or adding a bit of old-world texture to a kitchen.
The linen has a softly aged texture and shows the subtle irregularities and wear expected from a vintage textile. Measures approximately 36" by 26"
Origin in France, sourced in England. Mid-20th century.
