A single vintage French linen torchon (tea towel) with a woven red stripe and a hand-embroidered LT monogram near one corner. This towel also has two sewn-in hooks. These traditional French kitchen towels were made for everyday household use and are especially beautiful today for layering, display, or adding a bit of old-world texture to a kitchen.
The linen has a softly aged texture and shows the subtle irregularities and wear expected from a vintage textile. Measures approximately 32" by 23"
Origin in France, sourced in England. Mid-20th century.
