A charming little vintage French pill box with a glazed ceramic portrait of a long-haired cat set into a gold-tone metal case.
The tiny hinged box measures just 1.5" x 1.25", making it perfect for pills, rings, or other small keepsakes. The cat portrait has wonderful expressive yellow eyes and gives the piece a sweet, slightly quirky character.
The gold-tone finish shows age-related wear with areas of the silver-colored base metal visible beneath, and the interior also shows an area of flaking gold finish.
