An English silver-plated sugar tong, crafted in Sheffield in the early 20th century(1920-1940), featuring a classic elongated form with softly rounded spoon bowls and a gently curved handle. At 4.75", this is the longest of the 3 plain-handled tongs listed.

This slightly larger size offers a comfortable grip for serving sugar cubes or small sweets. It shows light wear consistent with age, including some subtle pitting to the interior of the bowls and inside the handle—an honest sign of use that adds to its timeworn character. Sourced in England.
