An English silver-plated sugar tong, crafted in Sheffield by SSP & Co Ltd in the early 20th century. (circa 920-1940). Measuring 4.5" long, it's the medium size of the 3 plain handled tongs listed.

This piece features a clean, understated form with softly rounded spoon bowls and a gently tapered handle, stamped EPNS to denote traditional electroplated nickel silver construction. 

This tong is perfectly sized for serving sugar cubes or small sweets, and layers effortlessly into both traditional and modern table settings. It carries light surface wear consistent with age, adding to its character while remaining fully functional. Sourced in England.
