An English silver-plated sugar tong by Barker Ellis, a respected Sheffield silversmith known for producing refined, functional tableware in the early to mid-20th century (1930-1950) Measuring slightly smaller at 4", this is the shortest of the 3 plain-handled sugar tongs listed.
This piece features a classic, understated form with smooth, rounded spoon bowls and a gently curved handle, stamped with the Barker Ellis mark and traditional EPNS designation for electroplated nickel silver.
Ideal for sugar cubes or petite serving pieces, and lends itself well to both everyday use and thoughtfully styled tables. Light surface wear consistent with age adds character while preserving its clean, polished look. Sourced in England
