A beautiful antique English coopered oak biscuit barrel dating to the late Victorian or Edwardian era.

Made in the form of a miniature barrel, the piece features warm oak staves held by aged brass bands, a fitted brass lid, swing handle, and a decorative shield-shaped escutcheon on the front. The original porcelain insert is also present and clean, without any cracks.

The barrel is in good antique condition with expected surface wear and patina to the wood and brass consistent with age and use. Hardware and lid are present and intact. It is missing 4 small screws that attach the brass bands, however bands are not loose. Please review photos for condition.

Measures 5.5" tall (without lid) and 5" in diameter
