A beautiful early Victorian music folio featuring Arthur Sullivan's The Light of the World, first performed at the Birmingham Musical Festival in 1873. The dark green embossed cloth binding with gilt lettering makes this a striking decorative piece for a bookshelf, piano, or music room.
This is likely one of the earliest printings of this collection, and includes an dedication page to Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Edinburgh.
Measures 10.5" by 7". 258 pages total. Very good antique condition with minimal wear to cover edges, and light foxing on first few pages.
circa 1873-75, sourced in England
